Robotruck, Developer of Autonomous Truck Systems, Selected for Japan’s MLIT FY2025 Demonstration Project with Toyota Tsusho Corporation

Robotruck Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yusuke Haga) has been selected by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) for the demonstration project titled “Social Implementation of Autonomous Truck-based Trunk Line Transportation.”

We will participate in a consortium led by Toyota Tsusho Corporation and commence the development of semi-trailer autonomous trucks.

Project Overview

In this consortium, Robotruck will be responsible for developing autonomous truck technologies. As part of the project outcomes, we plan to conduct demonstration drive of the autonomous truck between logistics hubs located along the Shin-Tomei or Tomei Expressway.
